Tower holds a fresh-local-variety Farmers Market each summer starting in June and going through the growing season to some time in September. It is held every Friday from 3-6pm at Tower’s Mini-park (by the train).
You will find all kinds of delicious foods - everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, to locally grown meats and eggs, wild rice, cakes, cookies, fruit pies, breads, lefse, and maple syrup, jams, hot sauces, honey, and other home-canned goods. The Market also sells a wide variety of handcrafted items that are products and work of local crafters, carvers, photographers, fiber artists, jewelry makers and others.
Tower really knows how to throw a good old fashioned Fourth of July celebration. Our City of 500 burgeons to thousands of visitors and families coming to town to enjoy the festivities. The highlights include a Grand Parade and Kiddie Parade down Main Street, fireworks on the hill, live music, pancake breakfast and street food vendors, a 10k & 5K road race, kids’ games on the school field and more.
